Lord, this morning I want to thank you and praise you for your strength. Whatever promises you have made to us in the Bible you are strong enough and able to keep. With your immeasurable strength you hold back the forces of evil in this world. With your strength you rescue us and protect us - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
It is your strength that makes your promises sure. We can trust your words because your strength makes you able to fulfil your words.
In this life we can see your strength demonstrated as you protect us and work in our lives, much as Jesus worked physical miracles while He walked this earth to demonstrate that He was (and is) God. People followed Him and believed in Him because of the miracles He worked. We can believe in your unseen power because we see evidence of it in our own lives.
Thank you that you are strong enough to do whatever you have promised to do.
As Jesus demonstrated His strength by healing those who were physically weak and helpless, so I can demonstrate My strength through your weakness, too, Little One. When your body is frail, when your emotional well has run completely dry, when your spirit is exhausted from struggling with your own sin, My strength rushes in like a river bursting through a weakened dam. My strength fills and refreshes your body, your emotions, and your spirit. My rushing power washes away the debris in your life. And it splashes over your banks to bless those near you, too.
